At Beach Tennis UK, including our hubs in Brighton and Poole, the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all participants is our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for everyone taking part in our activities, whether they are juniors, adults, or players with additional needs.
All staff, coaches, and volunteers are expected to uphold these high standards and follow best practice in safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk.
Our Safeguarding Principles
We believe that everyone participating in Beach Tennis has the right to feel safe, supported, and respected.

Qualifications and training: Coaches hold appropriate qualifications, DBS clearance (where required), and First Aid certification.

Professional conduct: Staff and volunteers operate under clear codes of conduct and BTUK safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusion protocols.

Clear reporting procedures: Concerns are taken seriously, handled confidentially, and reported appropriately.

Behaviour and Conduct
Beach Tennis UK is committed to maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment across all hubs and activities. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, bullying, intimidation, or any behaviour that may compromise the confidence, safety, or wellbeing of participants, coaches, volunteers, or partner organisations.
Any conduct—whether in person or online—that affects the enjoyment, security, or professional operation of our sessions will be addressed in line with our safeguarding and organisational procedures.
